Luckily, this yummy for the tummy coffee cake can be easily made on the stove. Don’t worry, the cake will be moist and soft with the same texture as that of a cake baked in the oven.
What makes this cake healthy is that you can use real coffee powder instead of conventional coffee flavoring and substitute some of the sugar with jaggery. Excited much? Let’s dive straight in!!
Coffee Cake Without Oven

- Ingredients for Coffee cake
- Eggs 4 medium
- Flour Plain 1 cup
- Sugar 1 cup
- Jaggery 1 cup
- Oil 2 tbsp
- Coffee 2.5 tsp
- Olive oil 1 tsp
- Warm Milk 4 tbsp
- Vanilla essence 1 tsp
- Baking Powder 1 tsp
- Ingredients for Topping
- Cream 1/2 cup
- Cocoa Powder 1/8th cup
- Sugar 1/4th cup
- Nuts for garnishing chopped
Directions
- Step 1
- 1: Mix coffee in milk.
- Step 2
- 2: Beat eggs and add jaggery while beating continuously.
- Step 3
- 3: Pour the coffee mixture and vanilla essence into the eggs.
- Step 4
- 4: Beat the mixture till it’s smooth.
- Step 5
- 5: Now add baking powder and plain flour and mix well with a spatula.
- Step 6
- 5: Pour olive oil and mix it well.
- Step 7
- 6: Steam the cake for 30 to 40 minutes.

- 7: In a separate bowl, beat cream, sugar and add cocoa powder.
